“Bath Salts” (aka: Hurricane Charlie, Ivory Wave, Black Rob)

The so-called “bath salts” has prompted bans in many states, including Florida.

That’s because bath salts, also known as synthetic cocaine, contain MDPV, an unregulated stimulant. There’s no real way of knowing what’s in bath salts, the country of their origin or the conditions under which they are manufactured.

In addition, very little research has been done on these substances to fully understand their dangers.

These substances have sickened – and killed – people, mostly teens, in all corners of the nation, including Florida, and prompted thousands and thousands of calls to poison control centers.

Why would you take something labeled on the package as “not for human consumption?” Why?
